Sherri’ Mealy is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator from Detroit, Michigan currently residing in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She specializes in Branding, Pattern Design, Art Direction and Illustration. In 2007 she received her BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Creative Writing from Western Michigan University’s School of Art. After graduation she landed a position at a start up fashion company called Spartina 449 where she wore many hats from product designer, display designer, art director, photography assistant and overseas liaison. After moving on to a more flexible lifestyle of freelance, Sherri was able to get experience in WordPress website design, logo design, and got to communicate with many different people on their design needs. While continuing to do freelance and experience many different design relationships Sherri realized her desire to help her community and therefore joined the non-profit organization Palmetto Animal League — a No Kill animal rescue that works hard to save 1,000 dogs and cats each year. As the Communications Manager for Palmetto Animal League she works largely with web, print, social media, marketing, and, of course, the animals in need of homes. When Sherri is not working she can be found spending time with her wonderful family of three dogs, four cats, one iguana and her animal loving husband, playing Heroes of the Storm, or creating fun patterns and illustrations under one of her many pseudonyms.
